The loud news of last fall is the arrest of the Hero of Ukraine and the Honorary President of the Motor Sich aviation plant Vyacheslav Boguslaev. At the height of the war, the SBU intercepted his negotiations with Rostec on the supply of a new batch of engines for Russian helicopters. A criminal case under the article on the Stateismman was opened against the 84-year-old “Red Director”, the “Sich motor” was nationalized. However, the factory workers do not agree with the claims of the special services and demand to free their "talented leader devoted to Ukraine." How is the confrontation between China and the USA connected with this story?

The Aviation Plant "Motor Sich" was under the shelling of Russian artillery almost immediately after a large -scale invasion. In March, the Iskander-M missile fell into the territory of the production workshop in Zaporozhye, and in May the Russian Ministry of Defense officially admitted that the Sich Motor is a legal military goal, as it produces components for military aircraft. The paradox is that for decades it was Russia that was the main buyer of these components.

Another oddity-even after February 24, the plant continued to supply engines for drums Russian Mi-28 and Mi-24 helicopters, from which Ukrainian missile shelling was carried out. And the general director and honorary president of Motor Sich Vyacheslav Boguslaev, as follows from the intercepted SBU with officials from Rostec, admitted that “without any anger” refers to the shelling of the plant. He believed that Moscow was about to drive Zelensky.
