A court in St. Petersburg has declared the Vesna movement extremist. This was reported by the First Department lawyers' association, whose lawyers represented Vesna's interests.

"Even the activists of the movement have not seen the text of the lawsuit. The document is marked 'secret' - the process was held behind closed doors from the public and journalists," said "First Department".

The United Press Service of the Courts of St. Petersburg confirmed to RBC the information about the court’s decision regarding Vesna.

The movement itself said it would appeal the court's decision and continue its work. "Nothing will stop us on the path to our goal - to end the criminal war and senseless bloodshed and save as many lives as possible on both sides of the front," Vesna's Telegram channel said.

• "Vesna" is a youth democratic movement that opposes the war. On September 21, after the announcement of mobilization in Russia, "Vesna" called on the country's residents to come out to the action "No to mobilization!"
