The authorities of the Leningrad Region, at the initiative of the governor Alexander Drozdenko, canceled the ban on rallies, demonstrations and meetings, the press service of the regional government reports .

You can now hold rallies at the sites established by local administrations, notifying the municipality and received approval in at least 14 days, the press service said. They added there that the measure is "excessive".
