The wooden temple of the XVIII century has not been preserved to the present day, like later stone churches. Now on the territory there is a new temple erected in 2001.

The first owner of the Suidinsky lands was Count Peter Apraksin, to whom Peter I gave this site at the beginning of the 18th century. But the most famous landowner Suida was not Apraksin, but Abram Gannibal-a military engineer, general-general , godson of the first Russian emperor and great-grandfather of the writer Alexander Pushkin.
Hannibal acquired lands in Suid in 1759, three years before his resignation. He spent the last 20 years of his life here and, on behalf of Catherine II, took up potato breeding: potato fields were planted in the vicinity of the estate.
Also, a park with alleys and canals, a grotto, a gazebo, a sunny clock and a small bridge appeared here under Hannibale. In addition, the estate installed a stone sofa cut from the glacial boulder - this item is now standing in a personal park.
Suida was later connected with the descendants of Hannibal: after the death of the Anthef general, the estate passed to his son Ivan. It was in Suid that Nadezhda Hannibal, the mother of Alexander Pushkin, was born - and here, in the temple of the Resurrection of Christ , she married Lieutenant Sergei Pushkin.
The first public museum in Suid was opened by the local historian Andrei Burlakov in 1986. But he lasted only seven years. And in 1999-in honor of the 200th anniversary of Pushkin-the State Museum was already discovered in Suid.
Not all buildings have been preserved to this day on the territory, but the guests of the park can see the house of the manager, the stable, greenhouse, the far courtyard and the forge. The Suida Museum-Estate works in a two-story stone outbuilding-before the revolution, guests of the estate settled in it, in the 1950s the building was rebuilt.
The museum occupies several rooms in which exhibits associated with Abram Hannibal and its heirs are exhibited. Most of these items were presented by the Pushkinists, the descendants of the poet and the inhabitants of the Suida, the museum collection has about a thousand storage items.
You can see in the outbuilding, for example, a portrait of young Hannibal is a copy of the picture of an unknown artist at the beginning of the 18th century. Pushkin’s personal belongings, as well as objects of his era are also presented in the museum: books, bronze candlestick, snuffbox, silver teaspoon.
Other exhibits are associated with Alexander Pushkin: this, for example, is a lace towel with a monogram “A. WITH." - It is believed that it belonged to the poet. Another curious subject is the bust of Pushkin’s work of the famous Soviet sculptor Mikhail Anikushin. This author repeatedly portrayed the poet , his name was named after one of the branches of the State Museum of City Sculpture - Anikushin's workshop in Vyazemsky Lane.

About five kilometers from Suida there is another Pushkin place - the house of Arina Rodionovna, the nanny of the poet. Now there is a small museum inside, getting to it from the estate is most convenient by car. You can call a taxi.
Also in the vicinity of the village you can find a template, nicknamed the local "Gatchinsky Stonehenge", an unusual abandoned house with a ball on the roof and other attractions .
But there is no catering in the village: it will be more convenient to eat in Gatchina, where Phali-Khinkali , Bushe and other well-known networks work. Another option is to get to Pushkin and go to one of the Gutsait Group restaurants.
Trains to Suida regularly depart from the Baltic station: electric trains are suitable to Siverskaya and Luga. Go about an hour, the price of the ticket is 133 rubles. The current schedule can be found on the SZPPK website. There are no direct buses from St. Petersburg to Suida.
Visitors recommend inspecting the museum with a tour, a group of one - five people will cost from 750 to 1,000 rubles. You need to order excursions in advance.
