The court in St. Petersburg fined Oximiron for the "discredit" of the army

The Leninsky District Court of St. Petersburg fined rapper Oximiron (Miron Fyodorova) for 45 thousand rubles under the article on discrediting the Russian army.

The reason for drawing up the protocol against the Contractor was his video message on the page on VKontakte on February 24 - in it, the rapper said that he was opposing the Russian military invasion of Ukraine.

Oximiron has not yet commented on the court decision.

After the start of the war, Miron Fedorov left Russia and openly continued to oppose the actions of the Russian Federation. In October, the Ministry of Justice made him on the list of "foreign agents".

• In October, the court recognized the track of Oximiron O2009 "The Last Call" "Extremist". The examination revealed in it "signs of justification of terrorism."
• In early December, an administrative case was opened against Oximiron because of the song "Oida". The head of the safe Internet league Ekaterina Mizulina, who saw there "calls to separate St. Petersburg from Russia, complained about it.
• The contractor is charged with an article on calls aimed at violation of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation. The prosecutor's office requires blocking the song in Russia, the rapper himself faces a fine of up to 100 thousand rubles.
