Karelia: three protocols on "discrediting" were drawn up for a pensioner

In Karelia, the 64-year-old pensioner Antonin Nikulin was drawn up by three administrative protocols under the article on the "discredit" of the Russian army. It is reported by "OTD-Info".

Nikulina lives in the village of Yushkozero, works at the weather station. According to the police, she left several anti -war comments in the public in VKontakte Karelfordia. These publications were watched by an employee of the Center for Combating Extremism, he compiled three reports - about the "discredit" of the army. A month later, the district police officer came to Antonina Nikulina, who drew up three protocols under the same administrative article.

The court session was scheduled for December 19 in the Kostomukksh district court - 120 kilometers from the village, where Antonina Nikulina lives. She has no lawyer. The pensioner is in dependence on the pensioner with disabilities.

As in Russia they punish for "discrediting"

Administrative and criminal articles on the "discredit" of the army appeared in the codes on March 4 - immediately after the start of Russia's military invasion of Ukraine.

At the end of October, RBC analyzed the statistics of the GAS Justice system and came to the conclusion that since March, 3406 administrative cases of "discrediting" were registered in Russia in the courts of first instance, another 1354 cases were in higher courts.

The cases of "discrediting" were received by the judicial authorities almost daily - from March 6 to October 19, the courts of first instance did not record new materials for only 39 days - mainly these were weekends and holidays. The peaks were on three dates: March 14 (70 cases), May 11, the first day after the May holidays (67 cases), and September 22 (52 cases).

The largest number of cases under this article was recorded in Moscow (632 cases), in St. Petersburg (247), Krasnodar Territory (164), Crimea (140), Kaliningrad region (123), Perm Territory (82), Samara region (79), Komi (77), Karelia (73) and Arkhangelsk Region (70).

Of the 3406 cases received in the courts of first instance, 2538 ended with a fine (in most cases, information about its amount is not published in judicial acts), 138 cases were terminated, 305 the judge decided to return the protocol due to violations during its execution. Locked for anti -war posters and slogans, stripes on clothes and backpacks.

The total amount of the appointed fines for "discrediting", according to the statistics of the Supreme Court, only for the first half of 2022 (from March to June) amounted to 85.7 million rubles.
