
An explosion occurred in the largest oil refinery in Eastern Siberia in Eastern Siberia, then a fire began. The explosion was so strength that it was recorded by seismographs. As a result of the accident, two inhabitants died, four were injured. Later, the Ministry of Emergencies in the Irkutsk region reported that the fire was extinguished.
The fire covered the factory technological installation, its area was about 2.5 thousand square meters. Two residents died, four were injured, they were taken to the medical unit No. 36. One wounded is hospitalized in a medium -sized state, the rest received medical assistance on an outpatient basis.
Residents of Angarsk, Irkutsk and their environs reported that the beginning of a fire on Angk was accompanied by a loud explosion. The vibration was such a force that some took it for an earthquake, writes the Angarsk gossip’s telegram channel. He posted a video where it is clear that the explosive wave was damaged by the ceiling in a building located a few kilometers from the plant. The explosion at the factory was so power that the seismographs were recorded as an earthquake.
More than 100 people and 25 units of equipment participated in the liquidation of the fire. Governor Igor Kobzev said in his telegram channel that the accident did not affect the work of infrastructure and there was no threat to the population of Angarsk.
It was preliminarily established that a possible cause of what happened on ANCC could be the gasket of technological installation systems. The previous fire occurred on ANCC on November 27. The owner of the company is Rosneft.
