Minzifra: 10% of IT specialists have left and did not return from Russia

Since the beginning of 2022, 10% of IT specialists have not left Russia. According to Maksut Shadaev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications, this is about 100 thousand industry workers.

"Many have returned, but if you take in total, about 100 thousand IT specialists are outside the country, while 80% of them continue to work for Russian companies while in friendly countries." - said the official.
