The Ministry of Education approved the school curriculum, which included lessons about "SVO" and basic military training

The Ministry of Education of Russia issued an order approving the school education program.

According to the program, in Russian history lessons, high school students will be told about the “coup d'état” in Ukraine in 2014, the “reunification” of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia, the “special military operation” and the subsequent “sanctions by the United States and its allies.”

Also, an updated program on life safety is being introduced for students in grades 10-11. As part of the classes, children will learn "elements of basic military training." The module, among other things, will include the rules for firing from the AK-74 Kalashnikov assault rifle, the principles of operation of the F-1 and RGD-5 hand grenades, and first aid in combat.

In September, the State Duma adopted amendments to the law "On Education", which introduce uniform mandatory programs in the humanities in schools. Starting next year, the Unified Federal Basic General Education Programs (FOOP) will become mandatory for both public and private schools.

According to the adopted amendments, elementary school students will have a unified program in the Russian language, reading and the world around them. Standardized lessons in Russian language and literature, history, social studies, geography and life safety will be introduced in secondary schools.

The Ministry of Education began to develop new educational programs in the fall.

Earlier, the Minister of Education, Serhiy Kravtsov , said that during the entire academic year, Russian schools would host classes on the topic of the war in Ukraine called “Conversations about the Important.”

"Conversations about the important", according to the training manual , is taught as part of "protecting Russian society from destructive information and psychological impact" and "strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values."

Schoolchildren in grades 3-4 were previously planned to be explained that love for the Motherland is manifested "in courage and determination to defend the Motherland at a dangerous time for it", and students in grades 5-7 will begin to be told about the "special military operation" and its goals, such as "protection of the population of Donbass from the Kiev regime" and "disarmament of Ukraine".
