Murmansk: A fire occurred on the Aviation Military Military Council

In Murmansk, a fire occurred on a heavy aircraft carrier cruiser "Admiral Kuznetsov", the Arctic Observer reports . According to SOTA, on December 20 it began to be removed from the dry dock of the Svezdochka shipyard.

The press service of the regional Ministry of Emergencies confirmed that the cruiser had a "local smoke". According to TASS, 20 people were evacuated, none of them were injured.

The fire has already been eliminated, there is no damage to the cruiser, RIA Novosti writes with reference to the head of the united shipbuilding corporation Alexei Rakhmanov.

The reasons for the fire are not reported.

• The ship is under repair since 2018. At the end of 2019, a fire also occurred on the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov. Then two military personnel died , another 14 received different injuries. The damage from the fire was estimated at 95 billion rubles, Kommersant wrote with reference to a source in the headquarters of the Northern Fleet.
