Rogozin's assistant said he was successfully operated on

Former Director General of Roscosmos Corporation Dmitry Rogozin, wounded in Ukraine, was operated on in Moscow on Monday. The assistant Rogozin called the operation successful. It is reported by RIA "Novosti".

According to the assistant, whom the agency does not call by name, Rogozin was removed from the region of the cervical vertebra, and now the former head of Roscosmos is already being recovered. " There are no other data on the state of Rogozin at the moment.

On the evening of December 21, a building was in the occupied Donetsk, in which the ex-head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin and the chairman of the government of the so-called “DPR” Vitaly Hotsenko were among others. At least two people died. Rogozin and Hotsenko were injured.

The publication "Base" and several Donetsk telegram channels claimed that the shesh-Besh cafe fell under the shelling, in which at that moment Rogozin celebrated his 59th birthday. According to Rogozin himself, he held a "working meeting, a narrow circle and in a calm atmosphere" in the hotel.

The Ukrainian military officially did not report whether they fired at the building where Rogozin was located.

The nature of the wound of Rogozin also spread different information. According to the publication "Kommersant", "a metal fragment in a size of 6 by 6 mm entered above the right spatula near the spine and miraculously did not hit the lightweight." Rogozin himself stated that the fragment was stuck in his cervical vertebra and threatened with paralysis: “You can’t leave because of the possible paralysis. And the problem is also to extract,” TASS quoted his agency. The wounded Rogozin was first taken to the hospital in Rostov-on-Don, and then transported to Moscow.
