The airport and the small terminal is planned to be introduced into the work in December 2023, the second stage of the building will be opened in December 2024.
What you need to know. The reconstruction of the military airfield of Levashovo and the creation of infrastructure on its territory, including for civil aviation, Gazprom and the Ministry of Defense agreed in October 2021.
Gazprom will re -engage in the Ministry of Defense airfield so that it can accept not only military, but also civilian aircraft. It is assumed that it will be used for the needs of Gazprom, business aviation of other large Russian companies, as well as for civil aviation.
During the renewal, more than 2.6 kilometers of the runway will be reconstructed and new facilities for ensuring the airport work will be built.
The airport complex with a bandwidth of 250 people per hour will be built at the airfield (a quarter from Pulkov's bandwidth).
