United Russia has developed a public positioning code of the State Duma deputy, RBC reports . Among the recommendations are not to write posts in social networks in an inadequate physical and mental state, not to use obscene vocabulary and not to lay out about luxury, exotic travels and restaurants.

The code consists of the following 11 points:

• do not violate the authorized ethical norms of the party with deed, in a word, text;
• correlate their position and statements with the basic authorized values ​​of the party, software installations and collegial position of the party on the issue;
• not to rush with the reaction in their own social networks and comments for the media: the media advantages of “be the first” can turn into the statement “was wrong” (mislead, deceive, just to “catch the hype”, etc.);
• it is strictly not recommended to comment on the international agenda, military and internal conflicts in other countries without planned preliminary attitudes or before voicing the official position of the Foreign Ministry; Subsequent comments should not contradict the official position of the state;
• it is advisable not to comment on special specialized issues (not to initiate especially!), If you are not an expert in the topic or industry problem, without consultation with experts and partners;
• categorically not to write on social networks in an inadequate physical and mental state.
• fulfill the elementary requirements of the culture of speech, do not use obscene vocabulary and jargonism, which can be interpreted in two ways or give opponents a reason for trolling;
• control your emotions and reactions, especially in the case of discussions on social networks and provocations;
• Do not lay out luxury items, exotic trips and restaurants in their social networks - all that can form an idea of ​​you as a “privileged class” in the eyes of the public;
• “The one who gives quickly gives (lat. Expression): in the case of a negative resonance immediately, without waiting for calls from colleagues and discussions about the correctness of opinions or that“ everyone did not understand me ”, - bring personal apologies and explain their own miss;
• Always remember that the opinion of you personally is now an opinion about all power and the whole party.

The document also provides examples under the heading “You don’t have to do this!”. Among them, for example, the January post of a uninstall deputy Sultan Khamzaev in support of the “referendum in Kazakhstan on the reunification of the republic with the historical homeland of Russia”.
