Associate Professor of the Mechanics and Mathematics Department of Moscow State University Mikhail Lobanov was arrested for 15 days under the article on disobeying police officers. This was reported on his Telegram channel. According to Lobanov, he was beaten during the search.
The search took place on the morning of December 29. The police sawed through the door and then talked to Lobanov in the apartment for more than three hours. According to his wife, Alexandra Zapolskaya, during the search the police behaved "unjustifiably cruelly", did not allow him to contact a lawyer, and also demanded that Lobanov sign some documents.
All equipment was confiscated from the apartment. Lobanov was taken to the Ramenki District Department of Internal Affairs. There, a lawyer was not allowed to see him for more than four hours.
Lobanov later reported that during the search he was hit in the face and chest, and at the station a report was drawn up against him under the article on disobeying a police officer. A photograph from his apartment was published on Lobanov's Telegram channel, which allegedly shows traces of blood.
Former municipal deputy Alexander Zamyatin reported that Lobanov was taken to Nikulinsky Court, where he was arrested for 15 days. At the same time, Zamyatin specified that the arrest has no relation to the case in which the search was conducted. Thus, it is officially unknown what other case Lobanov is involved in.
Lobanov's Telegram channel claims that during the search, the investigator mentioned former State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev , which means that what happened may be connected to Ponomarev's case about "fakes" about the Russian army, as part of which searches were conducted in seven regions of Russia on December 29.
