At the age of 82, Edson Arantis Du Nasent, better known to the world as Pele, died, the former striker of the Brazilian national team, according to various polls, is the best football player of the twentieth century. He is the only one in the story who three times became the world champion as a player - in 1958, 1962 and 1970 (and the Brazilian team - five -time world champion). During his football career, Pele spent 1363 games, scoring 1289 goals. Together with the Santos club, for which he spoke from 1956 to 1974, Pele became the champion of Brazil six times. In the fall of 2021, Pele underwent an operation to remove the tumor in the colon. The whole next year he passed chemotherapy.
