Russian online stores began to withdraw from sales the popular children's toys of Haggie Waggie-blue smiling monsters from the game Poppy PlayTime . This happened after the Roskanka reported numerous violations related to the safety of products. Among those who supported the test of the Roskachestvo and advocated the “refusal” from Haggi Vaggi, was the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children Tatyana Butskaya. - You were one of the first to advocate for checking the popular children's toy Haggie Waggie. Why did you pay attention to her?

- Like all deputies, we work with people, with the appeals that come to us. The question specifically this toy Haggie Waggie so often arose that when the Roskanka proposed to explore it, we fully supported. Because by this time we probably had a dozen appeals from parents who were embarrassed by these toys.

How does parents usually buy a toy for children? Go to the store. It seems that if the store, especially children, works, there can be nothing dangerous to be sold. I came, bought it. And then you take this toy, and her eyes suddenly fall off suddenly. We had a very interesting report made by Moscow24 - there is a video in which the child takes Haggie Waggie: “Oh, what an interesting toy! Oh, the eye fell off! Oh, the second falls off! " These toys were of such quality: they were melting, feathers crawled out of them ... In general, they raised a lot of questions.

Plus, there were still many questions for this: “What, in fact, is per toy?”, “What are you selling to us here?” That is, not: "What are we buying here?" When the child said “I want”, I bought something blue, scary. But you never know such blue scary ones. And then parents plunge into history and understand that this is a game [Poppy PlayTime], in which there are no positive heroes at all.

I have this not the first interview about Haggie Waggie, they ask me: “Here you want to fight Haggie Waggie, they are bad. But are our Baba Yaga and Koschey the immortal good? " No. These are also negative heroes. But I want to remind you that in our tales there have always been both negative and positive heroes. And all our tales are traditional, Russian, which our mothers told us, and they were their mothers, this was passed down from generation to generation, in these fairy tales the good defeated evil. There is not a single fairy tale where Baba Yaga won or Koschey Immortal.

Returning to Haggie Waggie, here is just a story without a good end. There is no positive hero who would take and win everyone.

- Were there toys, cartoons in your childhood, which should be forbidden, since they negatively influenced the psyche of children?

- I don’t know, probably, only a wolf that catches eggs. Because she [this game] attracted.

- Speaking about the quality of Haggie Waggie. Do you think that the results of the Roskachestvo check were not to lead to a complete ban on the toy, but to strengthening control over the production of toys as a whole?

- They, in fact, led to this. I think that Roskachestvo has no ban on Haggie Waggie ...

“But the shops are so perceived.”

- I think that the media present this. Because it is impossible to prohibit [any product] by name. They have questions for toys in which substances dangerous for the child’s health were found.

But, of course, there is a conversation not only about Haggie Waggie. Unfortunately, now wehave no checks. We facilitated work for business. We went to this, understanding how hard business is. But at the same time, referring to a certain agreement that the business will be honest. But when we see that toys appear on the shelves that have fallen eyes off, this can touch not only Haggie Waggie. Therefore, next year we planned serious work with children's goods. In particular, with children's toys.

For me, as a parent, it is very important for me, having come to the store and buying a children's toy, to be sure that it is definitely safe for my baby. Of course, I can ask for a certificate, some other documentation. And by the way, try to ask for a certificate in the children's store - we have done it repeatedly. You should have at least an extra hour to wait for a certificate. And then in an hour they will suit you and say: "We have a chain of stores, in the head office all certificates."

Parents should not understand this. They should come to the store, buy a toy and be sure that it is completely safe for the child. Protection of the rights of parents of our children - I believe that this is the task of 2023.

The question is not just about certification, but about the presence of a QR code, which now, for example, is on the water. You lead to it, the “Honest Sign” program opens, and you see everything clearly: who has produced this water when, how. And if there are any questions, you can write your opinion about the product there.

I believe that all children's goods must undergo additional parental control. Because no one is better than the consumer-the one who then plays with this toy-will not say that something confuses in it. And of course, the work of laboratories that check not only children's toys, but also children's goods, attractions are very important here. We already understand what road we follow to protect children.

- Judging by the report of the Roskachestvo, only the blue toys of Haggie Waggi were investigated. Do I understand correctly that there are no questions to Kissi Missy - the female version of Haggie Waggie and his lover? And to the versions of Haggie Waggie is not in blue?

- Look, this is a serious study . In order to give out the results that the Roskachestvo issued, and to be able to use these results, it must be scientifically justified. It was impossible to buy one pink toy, one red, one blue. It was necessary to purchase parties.

“But are there any questions to everyone?”

- There are questions precisely to those who have checked. You see the results. Do they confuse you? Yes. Me too - yes. And online stores are embarrassing, which remove toys from the sale. And offline stores are embarrassing. The result is achieved, but this is not a point result. This is the beginning of a lot of work on the safety of children's toys and goods in principle.

“You said that your parents turned to you to understand what kind of toy is Haggie Waggie.” How, in your opinion, is it really to parents to understand what their children play with, you need to go to the deputies of the State Duma?

- They need to ask the question themselves: "What is it?" The toy is not taken out of nowhere. All the last popular toys are usually their roots in a computer game or cartoon. Parents are responsible for their children, they must live the life of their child. If the child suddenly asks: “Buy me someone”, they should at least ask what kind of hero this is. And already seeing that something is wrong here, of course, the deputy’s road is one of the fastest to resolve the issue.

- How, in your opinion, will the children who liked the toy react to the disappearance of Haggie Waggie?

- I don’t know, it seems to me that they will be completely calm about this. These toys have both a rise in popularity and a quick slope. It is no longer interesting, something new comes out. Therefore, such stories are quite short -lived.

- Is it worth it to spend strength on them, if, as I understand it, there is a more global problem - a weak control over the production of children's toys?

- You are absolutely right, so what I have already said above is about that. We did not specifically become interested in Haggie, we became interested in the entire industry not even children's toys, but children's goods. And here it is important to know the story of each toy, clothes, dummy, cribs, strollers. Goods surrounded by a child spends 24 hours a day.

I believe that the story of Haggie Waggie, Roskazstvo simply attracted attention to the children's toys industry and showed what huge problems exist in it. That we cannot be confident, buying something that is safe. Unfortunately.

- You said that since Haggie Waggie toys are based on characters “who play bloodthirsty monsters in the game,” the child can repeat the scenarios of the game and this “can affect the children's psyche”. Why did you come to this conclusion? Psychologists attracted by Roskachestvo, for example, say that, firstly, children who have Haggi Vaggi do not show aggression, and, secondly, terrible toys are, on the contrary, useful, since games with them are an “integral part of development”.

-It seems to me that I already answered this question above when I talked about Koshchei the Immortal and Babu-Yagu.

- That is, it seems to you that there should be no negative examples?

- No, you misunderstood me. Please find in this game [Poppy PlayTime] good. Who is the good character there?

“But we are not talking about a computer game, but about a soft toy.” And there is already a child’s fantasy. And parents who can follow the game with a soft toy and offer other scenarios if necessary.

“You know, when the child sits with himself, especially if it is a child who has three or four years old, who has a game“ Boom-Bam-Trym ”.” It seems to parents that everyone is good. And what does he mean by this “boom-bam”, it only has it in his head.

In general, it was very interesting, by the way, Roskachestvo drew attention to the fact that the game Poppy PlayTime 12+. And then you look at the children who play Haggie Waggie - they are completely obvious, 12-. Here the question is also: “How did you see? How did you know? " But this is even a question for us, legislators, how much the marks of 12+, 18+ and so on work.

Why do I think that it is [Haggie Waggie] - something bloodthirsty? Because what kind of hero is this? Is it possible to play a good grandmother with a woman-yaga? Take a woman in your hands and try to play with her in a good grandmother, will it work?

- Why is it necessary to play with only one toy? You can make different scenarios with different.

- I repeat for the third time: in this game [Poppy PlayTime] there is no positive character, there is no good scenario. There is no Ivanushka who will win.

- If we are talking about a computer game, then there, it seems to me, to a person who plays for the protagonist - an employee of the toy corporation - and it is proposed to take on a positive role.

- He does not have a struggle tool in his hands. There is nothing to teach the child to be kind. To teach compassion, to teach help to the neighbor - this is not.

On November 9, we had a presidential decree on the preservation and support of spiritual and moral traditional values. It is in this direction that we must go. And if you support the games of our children, then recall our stories. It is clear that in the advertisement of the same Haggie Waggie a lot of money is invested, but this is not our story, but the children are ours.

- Don't you think that you can go to this goal of different methods? You can prohibit popular. And you can try to make more popular what seems right.

- Yes, I also agree with you here. Therefore, I said which toys are prohibited. Those in which, for example, found phenol. Whose eyes fall off. After all, her eyes do not just fall off.

But we do not know what these Haggi Waggi do. They are just blue and blue, scary and scary. What if they are filled with magnetic balls? And he swallowed two balls - that's it.

Unfortunately, we do not have toys examination by the level of influence on the psyche. By this parameter, we cannot get rid of them. But again-I still want to return to our traditional toys. Please, new fairy tales, new cartoons may appear, but it should be the stories of good victory over evil. Those children that we are now growing is the future, the future of our country. How do we want to see the future of the country? Actually, what our children play in.

-You do not think that now-in conditions when the fathers of many children go to fight in Ukraine, someone is dying-is the threat to mental health primarily not Haggie Waggie?

- We comprehensively support the families of those whose dads have gone to protect their homeland, and here support cannot be only material or only in the form of free food that is provided, free circles. We must continue to take care of their children. This is very important. Therefore, those questions that we raise cannot but raise them.
