In the late day of January 2, two children and an adult were injured by the main New Year tree on Palace Square, not far from the main New Year tree, due to the frightened horse. This was reported by the administration of the Central District of St. Petersburg.

According to the authorities, the unknown suddenly tried to climb a horse drawn into a carriage that rolled tourists. As a result of this, the animal was frightened and ran into the crowd, because of which three were injured, including two children.

Judging by the video from eyewitnesses, two horses were harnessed to the carriage. The video shows that the crowd scatters at the sight of frightened animals, a man in a black jacket and a blue hood falls nearby.

The Investigative Committee on St. Petersburg said that he was conducting a pre -investigation audit, according to the results of which he would appreciate the actions of the perpetrators.
