Russian doctors demanded to stop bullying Navalny

Russian doctors made an open letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a demand to stop the mockery of oppositionist Alexei Navalny, who was sent to the penalty for his prison for the tenth time in a strict security colony in the Vladimir region, and provide him with the necessary medical assistance.

The letter published by Medusa says that the conditions of the detention and the appearance of Alexei Navalny cause great concern for his life and health. The refusal of representatives of the FSIN to transmit the necessary medicines to the prisoner to the prisoner creates a direct threat to the life of a Russian citizen Alexei Navalny.

“From a medical point of view, it is obvious that Alexei Navalny does not receive medical care in sufficient volume, and his content in a schizoma is absolutely contraindicated in his state,” Russian doctors signed the appeal and remind that the right of citizens to protect health and medical care are registered in the Russian Constitution. Directed and serving a sentence of imprisonment, according to the law, also have the right to provide medical care, including in civilian medical organizations of the state healthcare system.

In appeal to President Putin, as a guarantor of the Constitution, Russian doctors demand to be allowed to Alexei Navalny civilian doctors and, if indicated, to hospitalize him in a civil hospital for a full examination and treatment.

The letter was signed by 36 doctors, most of which are from Moscow.

On January 9, it became known that Alexei Navalny was on December 31-for the 10th time-placed in the penalty area and, thus, met a new, 2023 year in a schizo.

Navalny’s lawyer Vadim Kobzev wrote on Twitter that, according to him, Navalny fell ill in a schizoma, he has a temperature and cough. “We are trying to give him medicines,” Kobzev writes.

On December 25, Alexei Navalny reported that he had left the schizo after the next sending there for 12 days. Thus, six days have passed between the two sendings to the penalty area.

In the Vladimir colony, Navalny has been located since June 2022. He began to appoint additional punishments after he announced the creation of the prisoners' union in August and began to dispute the conditions of his detention. Among the reasons for which Navalny was sent to a schizo, there were an unfastened button, a refusal to wash a fence, the absence of a jacket, obscene vocabulary, washing not in terms of routine.
