Oksimiron was fined under the article on calls for separatism due to the video “Oida”

The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg fined rapper Miron Fedorov (Oksimiron) because the latter allegedly called for separating St. Petersburg from Russia in the song “Oida.” This was reported by the publication "Paper".

The rapper was given a fine of 70 thousand rubles under the article on calls for actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation (Part 2 of Article 20.3.2 of the Administrative Code).

The prosecutor's office announced the completion of the check in connection with the "Oida" video in December 2022; earlier, the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, asked to check this song for the presence of public calls for separatism.

“League” drew attention to the lines “Blow a kiss to beautiful kitties on Obvodny. Ingria will be free,” seeing in them calls to separate St. Petersburg from Russian territory. Experts from St. Petersburg State University who examined the video agreed with this.

After Mizulina’s appeal, the prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit to add the track to the register of prohibited materials and remove it from streaming services.

• After the start of the war in Ukraine, Oksimiron repeatedly spoke out against the actions of the Russian authorities and held concerts abroad in support of Ukrainian refugees. On October 7, the Ministry of Justice added him to the list of individuals - “foreign agents.”
• On October 25, 2022, a court in Moscow declared Oksimiron’s song “Last Call” extremist. At the meeting, the prosecutor said that free access to the song “threatens the constitutional order” of Russia, since its words contain “public justification and propaganda of the ideas of terrorism.”
