The recently, an article by my old acquaintance of Adrian Korotnitsky “American Sells of Putin” appeared at Wall Street Jornal, among which the author mentions another of my old acquaintance- Dmitry Simis, who emigrated from Moscow to the United States in 1973 and renamed Semis.
According to Korotnitsky, unlike Ukrainian television broadcasts, which often perform American commentators and journalists, Americans rarely appear on the Russian air, although excerpts from the performances of the overseas critics of Ukraine, such as the former congresswoman Tulsey Gabbard, the present Marjori Taylor Green and the host of Fox News , Carlson.
Most Americans on the Russian air include, according to Korotnitsky, to marginals. This is, for example, the former member of the Senate of Virginia Richard Black, associated with the Shiller Institute of the Besnovated Politics of Lyndon Larusha, who taught that the Queen of English traded a couple with Zionists, and the former military intelligence officer Scott Ritter, who spent his pedophilia.
The exception is a handful of representatives of the American establishment, such as a professor of economics at Columbia University Jeffrey Sax , a correspondent of Naeshenel Interesty magazine Mark Bishoppos and publisher of the magazine Sims, who, until December 31, the President of the Washington Center for National Interests. According to Korotnitsy, “they willingly perform in the programs of the most odious propagandist of the Russian government, Vladimir Solovyov,” which “calls for Russia to invade Europe”.
Sims is one of the leading (together Vyacheslav Nikonov, the grandson of Molotov) of the program “Big Game” dedicated to foreign policy and going on Channel One since 2018. Still, writes Korotnitsky,
Sims positioned himself there as a sober foreign policy and promoted the idea of cooperation between Russia and America, although he was sometimes fond of and, for example, stated that Putin's February statement about the beginning (...) [special operation] “Worthy of Churchill”,
Whose speeches, the Americans recently likened to the speech of Vladimir Zelensky in the US Congress.
Commenting in Solovyov’s transfer this speech of the Ukrainian president, Sims, as Korotnitsky put it, checked a sober approach and spoke out as a “hard -stone Putinist”.
QUOTE
“Well, Vladimir,” the former Muscovite began, “firstly, it was a performance.” Secondly, from my point of view, it was a disgusting performance, because when I looked at the personnel of the President of the United States, affectionately embracing a person like Zelensky, who was a corruption liar who included people with frankly Nazi sympathies, whose troops mercilessly shoot a civilian population, which, not just part of Ukraine, but, as they say, “namedly, is named. element "of his people, for which he is fighting. But if Biden ... It was unpleasant for me to look at how he behaved with Zelensky, I was just disgusting to look at Nancy Peloshi! You heard what she did?! ""She kissed Zelensky's hand!" - showed the awareness of Soloviev.
“She kissed Zelensky's hand! - confirmed Sims. “I just don't know what to say for it!” I am not aware that one of the American leaders - according to the constitution, as a speaker of the chamber, the third person, as if replacing the president, if he leaves - so that there is such a gesture - either admiration, or sake of sake of, most likely, both of them, I just do not know what to say! "

Arriving in Washington in 1973, the ex-Simis took up what he used to amuse his Moscow friends, namely, stories about his ties at the Soviet tops. The difference was that in Moscow he was laughed, knowing that he was there only an IMEMO younger researcher and wrote a dissertation for the working movement in the United States, while in Washington, where for decades they dreamed that someone from the Soviet tops would come to them and finally tells what the local celestials were guided and that many were planning, many looked into his mouth. Others, however, considered him an agent of the KGB, told me a year later, when I came to Washington to translate the performance of the writer Vladimir Maksimov and met the Simis.
I immediately thought that he was just an inventor. I was also amused by the fact that he stubbornly retains a strong Russian accent. I immediately suspected that Mitya canows near Kissinger.
The prominent Israeli physicist Yevgeny Levich, who knew him in Moscow, told me about another invention of Simis. One fine day, Simis announced in his company that his father was not a jurist Konstantin Simis, but the West German politician Egon Bar (SDPG), the creator of Ostpolitik - a course on rapprochement with the Communist East, which was held by Chancellor Willy Brandt.
According to common acquaintances,
Recently, Sims says that his mother was not the famous dissident defender Dina Isaakovna Kaminskaya, but a simple Russian tractor driver.
According to the new version, his father was also Russian. In other words, Mitya Simis himself, who was a Jewish activist in the early 1970s and served several days for the action at the central telegraph, in fact-pure Rusak.

The process of Raching Siles, perhaps, has started since the people of the special prosecutor Robert Muller, in whose report, Sims is mentioned more than 100 times, took up the rapids of Rashagate. Sims suffered due to the fact that for once, the scent changed him. He put in 2016 on Trump (at the same time he also changed the Nyukh to Ukraine, which, on the contrary, put Clinton on Hillary, which other Republicans still cannot forget).
In the end, Müller wrapped Sims, but during the investigation, both he and his center of national interests dragged on a dashing and spent more than a million dollars on lawyers. The world is crowded: the main of these lawyers, the famous lawyer David Rivkin, is now defending the first channel from the lawsuit that the microbiologist Alexander Goldfarb presented him. The plaintiff claims that on the air of the channel he was baldly accused of the murder of Alexander Litvinenko and his own wife Svetlana.
The Simsa Stavka on Trump dropped the former Muscovite in the eyes of a large part of the American elites. The article by Josh Rogin in Washington Post in May 2019 was entitled "Dmitry Sims flew too close to Trump, and his analytical center received a burn." Maurice Greenberg, the chief donor of the national interests center, sharply reduced the size of his donations (from more than a million dollars a year to 25 thousand).
Sims, whose salary was 586 thousand dollars in 2017, told Rogin that he volunteered to receive less.

Sims told Rogin that the transfer on the Russian channel is not his personal project, but the project of his Washington Center. But many employees of the Center, according to the journalist, suspected that in fact, Sims led the thirst for money and proximity to power. Be that as it may, last week the Politico website reported that the Simsov magazine Naeshenel Interestut, which has been published for almost four decades and published such significant works as the “end of the story of Francis Fukuyama, has been experiencing serious financial difficulties and decided to stop the publication of its paper version. In the 1990s, the circal circulation reached almost 10 thousand copies, and now, according to its employee, it has been reduced to about two thousand.
Member of the Board of Directors of the Center for National Interests Paul Saunders told Politico that it is very expensive to publish a paper version of the magazine and that it is read immeasurably less than online.
According to Sonders, since 2001,

When the magazine, founded in 1985 by the conservative thinker with Irving Christol, was bought by the Simsov center, “and, most likely, from the day of its founding”, “Naeshenel Interesting” was invariably unprofitable, losing $ 1-2 million annually. The exception was 2016, when the magazine earned 300 thousand.
The 75-year-old Sims resigned on December 31, 2022. Until October, he earned about 400 thousand dollars a year in the center, but at the end of October he voluntarily stopped receiving a salary.
According to Politico, some former and current employees of the Center complained to him that Sims was broadcasting at the Russian guest, as well as that his statements acquired "more and more pro -Russian character."
As one of the members of the board of directors told the site, "none of the people associated with the center supported the positions of [Sims] in Ukraine." In May, a member of the Council, a former high -ranking Pentagon employee Dov Zabhaim, displeased that Sayms continues to fly to Russia and perform on television there.
At the moment, the team of employees of the center has been reduced to about five people, four of which are exclusively engaged in the website of his magazine. A few years ago, twenty people worked in the center. Politico learned that the board of directors, whose honorary chairman is Henry Kissinger, was not gathered for several years. They report, however, that several members of the board of directors recently discussed who to replace Sims.
I have no idea if Sims plans to follow our common friend Grigory Vinnikov, who escaped from debts from New York to Russia and at one time also performed with Vladimir Solovyov under the pseudonym “American journalist Greg Weiner”.
