In 2020, the Leninsky District Court of Nizhny Novgorod sentenced Globa and his wife Aisha Rizwan Kyzy Glob to five years in a maximum security colony on charges of marijuana trade in a group of persons and in a significant amount (Article 30, Article 228.1 of P.P.A., B of the Criminal Code).
