Iran does not recognize the Ukrainian territories annexed to Russia, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said on TRT World.
“We recognize the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries within the framework of international laws, therefore, despite the excellent relations between Tehran and Moscow, we did not recognize the separation of Crimea <...>, Luhansk and Donetsk regions from Ukraine <...>. Because we insist on our consistent principle in foreign policy: the conflict in Ukraine is not a solution and we believe in our position as a fundamental political principle,” he said.
The day before, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in an interview with Bloomberg that Belgrade would never recognize Crimea and Donbass as part of Russia.
