The average cost of “punches” from insiders working in companies in different industries increased by 22% in 2022 compared to 2021, and DALBI Darknet Darknnet exploration analysts calculated the Darknet Darknet.
We are talking about obtaining, for example, information about transactions, property and the secret of citizens' negotiations, notes Kommersant, who got acquainted with the report. At the same time, the growth rate of value decreased in comparison with 2020–2021, when “after a break” it cost more than twice a year. In general, according to DLBI, since 2017 the market has grown 7.5 times.
The main thing from the report:
Obtaining information about Bilina's subscribers, MTS and Tele2 went up twice or more, and about the clients of Megaphone almost did not change. The leader became MTS - 40 thousand rubles, followed by Tele2 and Megafon - 28 thousand and 25.5 thousand rubles. Accordingly, and the cheapest remains “Vimpelk” - 15 thousand rubles.
In Vimpelkom, Kommersant assured that to prevent such incidents, they intensified employee access control to client data, "including two -factor authentication, when customers confirm access to their data and critical operations for the operator’s employees." MTS also argues that they are taking “strict organizational measures and use modern hardware and software that prevent unauthorized access to limited access information”.
In Tele2, the rise in price of “punches” is explained by the fact that in the operator’s system the processes of identifying and suppressing illegal discharge of information are automated and “incidents are almost impossible”. The Megafon refused to comment.
In 2021 and earlier, “breaking through the numbers” of the phone and such services were several times cheaper, says Evgeny Antipov, the founder of the “eye of God”. In his opinion, the service itself began to lose value with the growth of leaks of various databases. Earlier, DLBI experts reported 75% of Russians in 2022. “The expectations of attackers did not become less for their earnings, and in order to compensate for the outflow of customers, they began to raise prices,” Antipov believes, noting that the number of intermediaries is growing when receiving information, which affects the price.
