Today, in many cities and countries, promotions have been held in support of the politician Alexei Navalny, who was serving time in a colony in the Vladimir region, and other Russian political prisoners. The events did not have a single organizer: they were held by local associations of Russians living abroad. The audience also spoke out against the war in Ukraine and demanded the change of Russian authorities.
