Over the past two months, the Wagner PMC cemetery in the Krasnodar Territory has increased sevenfold - NYT

The cemetery of PMC Wagner, located near the base of mercenaries in the Krasnodar Territory, has increased seven times over the past two months. This conclusion was made by New York Times journalists who analyzed satellite images, as well as video from the burial site.

According to their calculations, now there are 170 graves in the cemetery. In addition, in one of the videos with the founder and alleged owner of PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin, filmed at the PMC chapel in Goryachiy Klyuch, journalists counted 21 columbarium walls with 42 niches for ashes in each.

At the same time, the newspaper notes, only those mercenaries whose bodies were not taken away by relatives, or those who themselves expressed a desire to be buried there, are buried at the PMC cemetery in the Krasnodar Territory.

“Which gives reason to assume that hundreds of dead Wagner fighters are either buried there, or at least their memory is immortalized there. Whether they were all killed in Ukraine or elsewhere is unclear, but the video shows the extent of Wagner's losses anyway.
