The newspaper Correio da Manha, citing sources, wrote that the authorities of Portugal are considering the possibility of sending four Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. On the eve of the Minister of Defense of Norway, he said that the country would send combat tanks to Ukraine. The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak confirmed these intentions.
Earlier, the German Chancellor Olaf Sholts announced that Germany and the Sanizer countries are going to transfer to Ukraine a total of 112 Leopard 2 tanks. Chancellor also confirmed that the first step will be the sending of 14 tanks to Ukraine. Germany allows other countries to export "leopards" to Ukraine.
US President Joe Biden also stated during his speech in the White House that the United States will send 31 M1 Abrams tank to Ukraine.
