In Simferopol, more than 25 Crimean Tatars were arrested, who on January 25 came to the building of the Kyiv District Court, where they were choosing a preventive measure for six Crimeans in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case. Crimean Solidarity reports this.
Arrests of local residents under the article on organizing a mass simultaneous stay of citizens, resulting in a violation of public order (Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) were ordered by three courts - Kyiv District, Tsentralny District and Zheleznodorozhny District.

In addition, Enver Kurtnizirov was sentenced to 10 days of arrest, and Abdumazhit Zekeryaev was sentenced to 14 days. It is not specified which courts arrested Kurtnezirov and Zekeryaev.
On January 25, the Kiev District Court sent six Crimean Tatars to pre-trial detention until March 24. The men were detained on January 24 after searches. The Ukrainian publication Graty spoke in detail about how the investigative actions took place in the houses of the Crimean Tatars.
Lawyers who wanted to help the detainees were not allowed to attend the meeting to select a preventive measure, due to the fact that they were already defending other defendants in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case. Local residents gathered at the courthouse, police detained more than 30 people, and later the security forces released seven of them.
On February 1, January 31, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea upheld the decisions in the cases of Medzhitov, Arsen Umerov, Jalilov, Kurtnizirov, Asan Zekeryaev, Aider Zekeryaev, Kurkchi, Memetov, Selyametov, Ametov, Seidametov, Yusup Useinov, Islyamov, Dvlyver Ibragimov, Kazim Ablyalimov, Kiyamova.
As lawyer Emil Kurbedinov told Crimean Solidarity, Kazim Ablyalimov’s father died during his arrest, but the appeal court did not take this circumstance into account. The court also did not take into account the fact that some of the detainees came to support their close relatives.
The decisions in the cases of Limar Ismailov, Shevket Kurtumerov, Abdumadzhit Zekeryaev, Server Memedlyaev, Kulamet Ibraimov, Reshat Paralamov, Abdulaziz Adzhiumerov were changed. In an interview with Crimean Solidarity, lawyer Rustem Kyamilev explained that in Paralamov’s case, the court satisfied his additions that the protocols were drawn up several hours after the moment of arrest.
