In Moscow, on Pushkin Square, picketer Anna Sayfutdinova was detained for unfurling a poster with the inscription “Freedom for Zarema Musayeva.” She herself reported this to OVD-Info.
The girl is taken to the police department in the Tverskoy district. It is not yet known what exactly she is charged with.
20:33 Sayfutdinova was released from the police department without a protocol on the offense, she told OVD-Info. They took an explanation from her about the action.
- Zarema Musaeva is the mother of Chechen activists Ibragim and Abubakar Yangulbaev. In January 2022, she was forcibly taken from Nizhny Novgorod to Chechnya, allegedly for interrogation in a fraud case (Article 159 of the Criminal Code) in the status of a witness. In Grozny, Musaeva was sentenced to 15 days of arrest, and after that she was sent to a pre-trial detention center on a criminal case of using violence against a police officer (Part 2 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code) and fraud.
