The message of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Federal Assembly may take place on February 20-21, 2023. This was reported by TASS and RIA Novosti with reference to a source in the State Duma.

“The message [president] may take place on February 20 or 21,” said TASS interlocutor. Another source of the agency called the high probability that Putin would make a message on the twentieth of February.

In turn, the interlocutor of RIA Novosti noted that on February 24 - on the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine - the message will not take place.

Earlier on January 30, journalist Farida Rustamova reported with reference to officials who participate in the preparation of Putin’s message to the Federal Assembly that the work on the text of the message was resumed. “The exact date is not yet known. One of our sources was gloomily joked that he would not be surprised if the message would take place on February 24, ”the journalist wrote.

Commenting on this information, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that work on the preparation of Putin’s message to the parliament did not stop.
