The Tamizdat project will support students affected by the war

International Scientific Project Tamizdat Project Inc. He launched a two-month campaign “manuscripts do not burn” in support of bachelor students who are forced to leave their countries because of Russia's war against Ukraine or persecution for anti-war views in Russia and Belarus.

On January 30, two charitable book auctions will take place in New York and the fundraising campaign will start.

Rare books are put up for the auction-the first editions of the “smuggled” literature due to the iron curtain, as well as the books of emigrant authors who published in the West during the Cold War. About 300 publications with autographs and inscriptions of more than a hundred authors are offered.

All proceeds will be distributed between students received by undergraduate programs in the United States.
