A court in Moscow fined Twitch 4 million rubles for refusing to delete an interview with Alexey Arestovich

The justice of the peace of precinct No. 422 of the Tagansky district of Moscow fined the streaming platform Twitch four million rubles because of its refusal to remove an interview with Alexei Arestovich about the war in Ukraine. On January 19, Roskomnadzor drew up a protocol on Twitch under the article on non-deletion of prohibited information (part 2 of article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Among the materials that the department demanded to be removed was an interview with ex-lawyer Mark Feigin with a former adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich.

In 2022, the courts fined Twitch at least seven times. Of these, six times - under the article on non-deletion of prohibited information for a total of 21 million rubles. Once - under the article on non-deletion of information that contains calls for extremist activity (part 4 of article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), for 7 million rubles.
