Lizunkova taught English at the branch of the Institute of Transport, Service and Tourism in the village of Vorotynets, Nizhny Novgorod region. In the fall of 2022, she gave a lecture during which she spoke out against mobilization and advised students not to go to war. After this, Lizunkova went to the police, where a report was drawn up against her about discrediting the Russian army (Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code).
