Trash streamer Pochta, who spoke out in support of Ukraine, was detained in Yaroslavl

In Yaroslavl, security forces detained trash streamer Vladimir Samovolkin, known as Pochta. The arrest took place in the man’s apartment while he was broadcasting live .

On the eve of his arrest, Pochta spoke out in his stream in support of Ukraine: “I have always been for Ukraine and will be. I don't hide it. Russia is wrong." Later, various telegram channels began publishing clips from this video.

Judging by today’s broadcast, which included the arrest, several security officials came to the blogger’s home at once, including a certain “head of the Center for Combating Extremism,” who insulted the detainee’s mother and threatened her. According to one of the security officials, Samovolkin is “suspected of extremist activity”; it is unknown what exactly he is charged with. There is also no information about whether investigations are currently underway.
