The Central District Court of Komsomolsk-on-Amur fined the activist Nadezhda Filimonov for a picket on the square with a poster with the word "Mir". She was obliged to pay 30 thousand rubles under the article on the "discredit" of the army. Filimonova herself reported this by Siberia. Realities.
The word "world" from the poster in the text of the court ruling did not dare to write - they designated as "(other data)." According to Filimonova, the court was held on January 26 in her absence, no one informed the activist about the date and time of the meeting. There was no information on the court’s website - in court they said that they sent a telegram, but her Filimonova was not awarded. She learned about the sentence only on February 2 from a letter sent by mail.
- I was simply deprived of the right to defense, not knowing about the upcoming court. I sincerely do not understand how the word "world" can discredit the army. I asked a police officer who wrote a report, to explain this - he could not tell me anything intelligible. Maybe the judge was afraid that I would also ask her this question, so they came up with this cunning move with a telegram instead of a regular notification? And this bashful "other data" outrages me. The army, therefore, supports the international world, but I cannot. Clown, and only, ”the activist commented on the verdict. She plans to appeal the court decision.
Filimonova was conducted on December 31, she was detained by the police. According to her, the police twice tried to draw up a false protocol on her - allegedly she organized a mass event, although they saw that she was standing alone. She did not sign these documents. Filimonova also petitioned the word "Mir" linguistic examination. In the protocol, the picket man clarified that the police officer himself admitted that this word is not prohibited.
