Rapper Yung Trappa (real name Vladislav Shiryaev) died on February 2 at the age of 27, according to the artist's Telegram channel.
“Vladislav died at home, in the family circle, being close to his loved ones, from cardiac arrest,” the report said.
The St. Petersburg edition of Fontanka reported that the body of Yung Trappa was found on the morning of February 3 in his apartment in the Admiralteysky district of St. Petersburg. The source of the publication said that the death of the rapper is not of a criminal nature - he "just did not wake up."
The "Beware the News" project claims that drug overdose is considered among the possible causes of the rapper's death. Fontanka, in turn, writes that no traces of drugs were found in Shiryaev's apartment.
Yung Trappa is a member of Versus Battle, known for his battle with Feduk in 2014. In 2021, the rapper recorded two feats with Morgenstern - “Rose Wine - 2” and “Family” (for the clips for these tracks, Morgenstern was given an administrative fine of 100 thousand rubles for promoting drugs).
Vladislav Shiryaev was prosecuted several times. In 2013, he received a suspended sentence in a drug trafficking case, and in 2016, under a similar article, he was sentenced to almost six years in prison. He was released in February 2021, and in November he was arrested on a criminal case of sexualized violence. Shiryaev denied the allegations. At the end of December 2022, he left the pre-trial detention center on bail.
