In April 2021, the security forces came with searches for ex-editors of DOXA Natalia Tyshkevich, Alla Gutnikova, Armen Araman and Vladimir Metelkin. They were accused of involving minors in dangerous actions for them (part 2 of article 151.2 of the Criminal Code). The criminal case was opened because of the DOXA video, in which the participants in the publication turned to the students-they called not to be afraid of threats to deductions for participating in rallies. Subsequently, the editorial office of the magazine deleted this video at the request of Roskomnadzor.
According to the same article, a case was opened against Leonid Volkov, a former head of the headquarters of Alexei Navalny. According to the investigation, after Volkov published the video “How we have been pulled out of prison”, DOXA employees against the backdrop of active discussions in social networks have an intent “to maintain the above calls and create our own publications”. Initially, the Volkov and editors of DOXA took place in one case, later the editors were allocated in a separate production.
