In Ivanovo, the security forces drew up a protocol on violations of the rules of the organization of a public event (part 1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) to the shareholder Dmitry Karasev. He himself told the OVD-Info about this.
Karasev yesterday, February 5, climbed onto a pillar near Pushkin Square with a red poster with the inscription "They spoiled their lives for how they looked." There was a white balaclava on the activist, sprayed with red paint and a black costume with photographs of people who were abused because of their appearance.
“Piercing, tattoos, brightly colored hair-the presence of named elements of self-expression on the human body does not justify violence against it,” the organizers of the action of the telegram channel “Ivanovo region and politics” quotes the organizers of the action.
The actionist was delivered to the police department in the Frunze district and released after drawing up the protocol.
Frunze District Court of the city will consider the case today, February 6. The interests of Karasaev are defended by a lawyer from the OVD-info Oscar Cherdzhiev.
17:00 , due to the action with the poster “they ruined life for how they looked” Karasev was assigned a fine of 10 thousand rubles.
Earlier, a man was drawn up by another protocol under an article on violation of the rules for organizing a public event. The reason was a single picket in the Ivanovo Museum of History and Local Lore named after D. G. Burylin. On January 25, the activist chained himself handcuffs to the stairs inside the building, with him he had a poster "You do not have to be a feminine toy for men."
On February 27, Dmitry Karasev re-reinforced the protocol under a rally article (part 1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to the action “You do not have to be a feminine toy for men”, which he spent in January at the museum. This was told by the lawyer Oscar Cherdzhiev, who collaborate with the OVD-Info.
Cherdzhiev specified that the new protocol was drawn up without the presence of Karasev.
The heading of the news has been changed due to the emergence of information about the fine.
