Founded by businessman Evgeny Prigozhin PMC Vagner in 2022 turned out to be one of the key participants in the full -scale war in Ukraine. Against this background, the influence and income of Prigozhin has grown significantly, it should be from a joint investigation of “layout” and “we can explain”.
So, in 2022, companies associated with Prigozhin and engaged in food supply in the fields of education and healthcare earned more than 91 billion rubles. At the same time, the total income of the same companies over the past ten years was about 185 billion.
All this money was received in Moscow and the Moscow region. As journalists associated with Prigozhin pay attention to, over the past ten years, 94.8% of all contracts for school food in Moscow have received, despite the fact that complaints have repeatedly arose to the quality of their products.
In addition, the investigation states that shortly before the war, Megaline, who was associated with Prigozhin, received in Schelkovo near Moscow, real estate objects of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation with a total area of 64 thousand square meters, including land, soldier's barracks, soldier's dining room, a club, a parade ground, a building material, a sawmill and another. The cost of some objects was seriously underestimated, the authors of the investigation found out, because of which the Russian budget in this transaction could lose more than 138 million rubles.
Separately, journalists drew attention to the Assets of Prigozhin's family in St. Petersburg. So, according to the authors of the investigation, the son of Prigozhin Paul owns a mansion located in the cottage village of North Versailles. Its cost is estimated at 90–95 million rubles.
In the same village there is a multifunctional complex "Lakhtinsky Passage". The approximate cost of the object can reach 260 million rubles. The formal owner of the land on which the complex is located is the Beta company. Whether the "beta" owns the complex itself, is not specified. This company was created by Evgeny Prigozhin in 2005, and now its only founder is his son Pavel. At the end of 2021, the profit of the company, in which three people were listed, amounted to almost 37 million rubles.
It is also reported that Pavel Prigozhin through his company Lakhta Park owns another house located near the North Versailles. Journalists estimated its cost at 65 million rubles.
In addition, in the same village there is the house of Prigozhin itself with an area of 550 square meters, the approximate cost of which is about 50–55 million rubles, and next to it is the estate of the businessman's wife. In 2016, the Corruption Fund appreciated the cost of two mansions and a site belonging to Lyubov Prigozhina at 600 million rubles.
In the Northern Versailles there is also the house of Prigozhin's eldest daughter. Journalists estimated its cost of 50 million rubles. Thus, only in the cottage village of Prigozhina, they own real estate for about one billion rubles, concludes “layout”.
“Northern Versailles” is not limited to Prigozhin’s assets in St. Petersburg. The investigation mentions several objects that were bought by little -known companies that appeared shortly before the transaction. So, in 2021, Real Estate acquired a plot in the very center of St. Petersburg for 500 million rubles to build a business center with an area of about 30 thousand square meters on it. At the end of 2021, only one person worked in this company, and the profit a year before the purchase of the land amounted to 3.9 million rubles. According to the publication "Business Petersburg", Evgeny Prigozhin is standing for Real Esteite.
The unfinished business center “Marine Capital”, where in 2022 the business space “PMC Wagner Center” was opened, was also bought through the previously unknown Joint-Stock Company Retail, created shortly before signing the contract of sale. Now only the cadastral value of the object is 4.38 billion rubles.
Through a little-known businessprof company with the only shareholder in 2018, the Sinop business center on the Sinop Embankment in St. Petersburg was also acquired, the cadastral value of which is more than 1.2 billion rubles. According to journalists, the authorized capital of the company, whose beneficiary is Pavel Prigozhin, at the time of the purchase of Sinop amounted to only 10 thousand rubles. As of the end of 2021, assets worth 2.5 billion rubles were on the company's balance sheet. “Vitrust” clarifies that the publication could not contact either “businessprof” or Pavel Prigozhin.
“Medusa” in Russia is now not only “foreign”, but also an “undesirable” organization. This status is much worse than the previous one. Nevertheless, we continue to work. We can still read us. It is safe. Here are all answers to anxious questions.
