Lawyer Mikhail Benyash was accused of distributing materials from “foreign agents” due to a repost from the satirical telegram channel “Neural Meduza”. He himself wrote about this in a telegram.

Benyash published screenshots of the protocol drawn up by Krasnodar Criminal Investigation Department operative Viktor Golubev, who investigated his Telegram channel. The protocol states that among the records “messages and materials” were identified that were created by “foreign agents.”

As an example of one such material, the report cites a repost of a message from the Neural Meduza telegram channel, which states that “Kuban has become the first transgender woman in history.”

Neural Meduza is a satirical telegram channel that publishes made-up news headlines generated by a neural network. He has nothing to do with Meduza.
