The Ministry of Justice recognized the singer Zemfira "ino -agent"

The Ministry of Justice of Russia updated the Unified Register of Foreign Agents. Singer Zemfira, ex-deputy of the State Duma Dmitry Gudkov, political scientist Abbas Galyamov, a scientific journalist and LGBT activist Alexander Kazantsev, director of the Center for Vasily.NOT, Anna Rivina, Auto Expert Sergey Aslanyan, activist from Vladivostok Tatyana Nazambaeva, mathematician and analyst Sergei Shpilkin got into it.

Zemfira was recognized as an “ino -agent” for the support of Ukraine, “concert activity in unfriendly countries” with anti -war performances and support from “foreign sources”.

Gudkova was included in the register for calls to provide weapons to Ukraine and impose sanctions against Russia. He also acted as an expert and a respondent at the "information sites provided by foreign structures", the department explains. For the same status, Gallyamov also received, who also opposed the war in Ukraine and distributed the materials of "foreign agents".

Aslanyan also opposed the war and, according to the Ministry of Justice, "distributed inaccurate information" about the Russian government. Spilkin received the status for attempts to "discredit the electoral system of the Russian Federation."

Rivina (Director of the Center for Vilius.net, recognized by the “Ino -Anti -Agent”) also, according to the Ministry of Justice, disseminated the “inaccurate” information about the Russian authorities and the “negative” information about the activities of the Ministry of Defense.

Namazbaev was included in the register for the distribution of the materials of the "foreign Agents" and the support of LGBT. Kazantsev was also accused of LGBT-Propaganda, as well as in raising funds in support of Ukraine.

• The legislation on "foreign agents" in Russia appeared in 2012. The law allowed the Ministry of Justice to recognize non-profit organizations by “foreign agents” if they receive financing from abroad and are engaged in “political activities”. The criteria for which such activities are determined are not clearly defined in the law, which allows the authorities to persecute organizations working in the field of education, culture, healthcare, ecology, and human rights protection.
• According to the "Virstki", 18% of all "foreign agents" in Russia instituted criminal cases. The most popular article for persecution is about the spread of fakes, that is, obviously false information, about the actions of the Russian army. The Russian authorities consider any statements that are different from the official statements of the Ministry of Defense.
• From December 1, 2022, anyone who is under "foreign influence" will be able to declare the ino -agent.
