The St. Petersburg prosecutor's office ordered six schools in the central district of the city to buy arsenals with mock-ups of educational machine guns and grenades for equipping life safety classrooms. According to Novaya Gazeta, 23 million rubles will be spent on this from the budget of the Central District of St. Petersburg.
According to the publication, in early February, educational institutions received an order from the Ministry of Education, according to which life safety classrooms must have a gun safe, mini-express laboratories for radiation and chemical reconnaissance, a dosimeter, an oxygen and toxic gas analyzer, a protective suit, and simulators of wounds and lesions for the simulator. - a mannequin, models of F-1 and RGD-5 grenades, a shooting simulator, a model of a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a magazine for it with training cartridges and a cutaway model of a simple shelter.
The city education committee clarified to Novaya Gazeta that the equipment is necessary for students in grades 10-11, whose curriculum includes the subject of basic military training. The Ministry of Education approved it at the end of September.
As part of it , in addition to the life safety module, which includes the rules of shooting from a Kalashnikov assault rifle, the principles of operation of hand grenades and first aid in battle, high school students in history lessons will also study topics about the “coup d’etat” in Ukraine, “the reunification of Crimea with Russia” and “ special military operation."
