Roskomnadzor, by court decision, blocked a dictionary of prison terms of "Rus' -sitting"

Roskomnadzor blocked the “Brief Prison Glossary” on the website “The Prison Consultant of Rus' Sitting” by court decision. It is reported by Roskomsvoboda.

Access to the site was limited on February 11. The decision to block was made by the Urupsky District Court of Karachay-Cherkessia in March. The reasons for the blocking are unknown.

“Brief prison glossary” is a reference book that determines the jargon terms adopted among prisoners. According to Roskomvoboda, glossary does not contain any prohibited information, including “Propaganda of prison romance” or the ideology of the movement of A.U.E.

“Sitting Rus'” is a non -profit project that provides assistance to convicts and their families, faced with violation of rights from the investigative bodies and the penitentiary system of Russia.
