At the trial to extend the preventive measure, Andrei Boyarshinov was detained and his supporter has already been released

In Kazan, at the trial to extend the preventive measure for Andrei Boyarshinov, the Russian Guard detained a local resident Mark Serov. This is reported by Idel.Realii.

Serov came to the Vakhitovsky District Court in a T-shirt "Freedom to Andrey Boyarshinov." The support group was not allowed into the courtroom, and after the end of the meeting, the young man was detained by officers of the National Guard at the exit of the building. According to Serov, the officers of the National Guard called the police at the entrance, who “didn’t like” his passport for some reason - this was the reason for the detention.

Serov was taken to Police Department No. 2 "Vishnevsky", where he was asked to write an explanation. A few hours later he was released.

• Serov is an active participant in the Kazan protests, Idel.Realii notes. In January 2021, he was detained on a march in support of Alexei Navalny, and after a long detention in the department, he was fined 10,000 rubles. In April of the same year, a young man was arrested for 15 days in connection with participation in a protest action.
• Andrey Boyarshinov is a candidate of biological sciences from Kazan who is accused of justifying terrorism because of messages in telegram chats. On February 13, the Vakhitovsky Court of Kazan extended Boyarshinov's detention until March 18.
