The defendants in the case are charged with sabotage causing significant property damage (clause “b” of Part 2 of Article 281 of the Criminal Code). The suspects include a student at the Penza State University of Architecture and Construction, one minor and two other men. The Telegram channel “Caution, News” writes that the minor’s name is Danila N., the other defendants in the case are Ruziboy P., Igor M. and Nikolai P.

According to investigators, they are involved in arson on the railway that occurred in December. On December 21, at the 713th kilometer of the stretch between the Penza-1 and Penza-2 stations, the traffic light relay cabinet caught fire. He offered to set fire to the relay cabinet on the railroad for a reward. “The user sent detailed instructions on how to behave so as not to be detained by law enforcement officers, and how and what should be mixed to set fire,” the publication’s interlocutor said. According to him, after this the defendants in the case received 40 thousand rubles. One of the suspects suggested that the order could have come from Ukraine.

The court sent Ruziboy P., Igor M. and Nikolai P. to a pre-trial detention center, and the minor was assigned supervision as a preventive measure.
