The Kerch City Court sentenced social worker Olga Sayenko to two years probation due to comments on social networks. The press service of the court reported this; OVD-Info drew attention to the verdict.
Sayenko was found guilty of calls for extremism (Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code). She was also banned from teaching for two years.
According to investigators, from February to July, a Kerchan woman under the nickname “Black Realtor” left comments on telegram posts about Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine. Among other things, she wrote that the Russian army was insignificant and disgraced to the whole world, and also wished death on Russian soldiers.
The case against Sayenko was opened in October 2022, and as a preventive measure she was given a written undertaking not to leave the place. Pro-Russian blogger from Crimea Alexander Talipov wrote that the case was opened after his denunciation. The blogger also published screenshots of Sayenko’s statements, in which she suggested “getting rid of Russia.”
