The Gukovsky City Court of the Rostov Region sentenced a 19-year-old local resident to four years in prison in the case of arson of a military registration and enlistment office. Interfax was told about this by the press service of the regional FSB department.

The publication clarifies that the young man was charged with hooliganism committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code) and attempting to destroy someone else’s property (Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code). In the court file, Mediazona found allegedly a file for this case. The verdict was handed down on January 24, and the accused’s name is Vladislav Matveenko.

In mid-May in Gukovo, an unknown person in black clothes threw a Molotov cocktail at night at the local military registration and enlistment office building and ran away. Interfax writes that he was detained two days later. According to the prosecution, the young man reached an agreement via the Internet with a “curator” who promised him 3 thousand rubles for setting fire to the military registration and enlistment office.
