The Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea opened a criminal case due to a fire on the grave of a soldier who died in Ukraine

In Yevpatoria, the police opened a criminal case due to a fire on the grave of a soldier Vladimir Tsygonia, who died in October in a war in Ukraine. This was reported by TASS with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea.

The case was opened under an article on abuse of burial places (Article 244 of the Criminal Code). The fire occurred at the cemetery on Mirnovskoye Shosse on the night of February 12. As a result of the incident, flowers, a cross and four banners burned: the flag of Russia, the flag of the 810th brigade, the St. Andrew's flag and the flag of the marine corps.

According to Baza Telegram channel, the lamp left by the colleague of the deceased Victor could be the cause of the fire. Shortly before the fire, he came to the grave of his comrade with his acquaintances, they brought flowers and lit a lamp, which, allegedly, then fell and set on fire around the grave.

At the same time, according to the Mash telegram channel, they found a bottle of ignition liquid on the grave.

Relatives of Tsygonia are sure that it was arson. “This all happened on the night of Sunday. Namely, these days, my grandmother and I go to the cemetery. I think that this arson was not in vain arranged in such a way that we came to the ashes, ” commented the fire of Tsygonia Lyudmila. The colleague of the deceased denies his involvement in the fire: "I, the fuck, set fire to his friend?"

The girl Tsygonia Alexander reported that shortly before the fire, the acquaintances of the deceased saw a strange drunk man from the grave.
