On February 14, the ninth meeting of countries-the Allies of Ukraine was held at the NATO headquarters in Brussels in Brussels. Such negotiations are held to coordinate efforts to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It was assumed that one of the main topics of the meeting could be the transfer of Western combat aircraft to Kiev- primarily American F-16 fighters. The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in need of aviation for a counterattack.

Negotiations in Brussels were held against the backdrop of reports of Russia's preparation for a large -scale air offensive. During the meeting, US representatives said that American intelligence has not yet seen signs of such training.
