The service for recruiting psychologists Zigmund.Online was subjected to a spam attack due to a promotional video with Monetochka

Bots attacked the main sites of the service for the selection of psychologists Zigmund.Online, the company's press service told Kholod. The messages appeared after a promo video with the singer Monetochka, which the service posted in April last year.

Attacks on social networks, email, and the telegram channel of the service began on February 16 and lasted for two days. For example, Zigmund.Online mail received a lot of messages with approximately the same content:

“How can you shoot a video with the actress “Monetochka”? This woman directly curses Russia and all those who live in it. She rejoices when our children and relatives die in the war. … Please, analyze advertising with such people, otherwise nothing good will come of it.”

In addition, the authors of the letters threatened to write some kind of "request to the prosecutor's office."

The press service of the service said that due to the attack, there were problems with the operation of the site. “We periodically had attacks on the service, the technical team learned how to deal with them effectively and minimize the consequences for the business. This is the first time such an attack has occurred,” the company said.

Singer Elizaveta Gyrdymova (Monetochka) has repeatedly spoken out against the war in Ukraine. After the start of a full-scale invasion, she left Russia.
