A visitor to a Moscow library was shown a list of authors whose books would not be accepted; among them Zygar, Nevzorov, Orwell

In one of the Moscow libraries, visitor Anastasia Burlakova, who tried to hand over books, was shown a list of authors whose works would not be accepted, among them “foreign agents” and foreign authors. this reports Avtozak LIVE with reference to a woman’s post on Facebook.

According to the photo of the list posted by Burlakova, it included Mikhail Zygar, Alexander Nevzorov, Boris Akunin, Dmitry Bykov, Dmitry Glukhovsky, Yulia Latynina and Eduard Limonov. In addition, the list included Stephen King, JK Rowling, George Orwell and Neil Gaiman.

As a library visitor explained, the books of the listed authors “are confiscated, or the collections cannot be replenished with their books.” Burlakova did not specify which library in Moscow she was talking about.

Earlier it became known that the capital's libraries received lists of books to be written off. Among them were the works of openly gay Briton Stephen Fry, a text by Haruki Murakami touching on the topic of relationships between lesbians, and an autobiographical novel by Eduard Limonov.
